  1. The motivation is inside us all. We know that exercise will give us more energy, confidence, and hapiness. You know you want it!

  2. Seriously???

The Wayne Rooney part where he ended up like a hobo eating cold baked beans and sporting a shaggy beard was like a slap in the face to me. I stopped web surfing and immediately got back to something productive.

I thought the idea of missed opportunities to be incredibly powerful

  3. Hope you didn’t think I was judging you Brit.

I was just surprised that the commercial didn’t get you all revved up

  4. I know you weren’t judging.

Yes, it’s an awesome commercial, but it doesn’t motivate me because I know all the outcomes are exaggerated for humor. The Wayne Rooney part you mentioned, I thought it was hilarious, not motivating.

  5. Thanks for this. I liked it too.

I guess for unmotivated people, it really is so internal. I can believe that things, people or circumstances inspire change, but the real will to change has got to come from an internal change. And I think lots of little changes need to be built on. For example, if you’re reading this blog, you’re thinking about fitness. Maybe turn that into writing a journal about your personal struggles and accomplishments in this realm. Then start keeping a food and exercise log, even if the food isn’t healthy and the exercise is zero. Then add a healthy new food once a week and 10 minute walks, etc etc. We are our only motivation, I think.

Anyway, thanks again, I always enjoy these types of posts
