The reason most people prefer to eat pizza, pasta, burgers, ice cream, etc…is because they taste awesome.

And if you’re going to have a chance of competing against awesome…you are going to need to elevate your skills with the optimal use of spices.

  • Unfortunately, if you’re like me, you’ve never been to culinary school and have no idea how to create spice blends that can elevate a “healthy” meal into something “awesome”
  • Fortunately, there are people out there like Astrid (from Opa Helmut’s Spice Rub) who do know how to combine spices. 

And thanks to Al Gore’s internet, you can get those spice blends delivered to your door just in time to avoid another….”I hate your stupid paleo-diet” argument.

If you want to eat Paleo and keep your marriage intact…

  1. Steal and re-create really good Paleo recipes (lots of recipe site links below)
  2. Use spice blends to elevate your meals from meh to effin’ awesome.

  1. So from the title, I thought this was going to talk about how to compromise, maybe how to make meals that can go paleo/non-paleo at the end with a few additions.

    Instead, it’s all paleo with no compromise, too bad about if your wife doesn’t want to eat that way. How nice of you.
