After Fight Club came out, not only did a bunch of angry young men start up Tyler Durden style Fight Clubs, just about every cheesy fitness website invented their own “Fight Club Workout” workouts to capitalize on the success of the movie.

To get ready for his role as Tyler Durden, Brad Pitt has to build an ultra-chiseled fighter-style physique.

Dropping his weight down to 155 pounds by eating six high-protein meals per day, Pitt combined bodybuilding-style resistance workouts with cardio sessions, grappling, Tae Kwon Do and boxing lessons.

But before you go and think you can your 200+ lbs of lazy-bones into a Tyler Durden body, even Brad Pitt admits  “I’m one of those people you hate because of genetics. It is the truth.”

  1. didn’t expect to see Michael Chiklis’ name on this list…but seriously…

    I have the utmost respect for all these actors and others that are able to transform themsleves like this, but one thing I often say to friends and family members who I disuss fitness/fat loss with: these actors are being paid-usually milliions of dollars-to make these transformations…also, I have ZERO doubt that at least half of them are using some combination of steroids/GH/???

  2. I really respect how deep some of them get into character. My question is from a health standpoint, are there any effects, maybe as they get to middle age, on their overall health specially for those who transform so drastically.
